ATG® Mission and Benefits of Membership

Attorneys’ Title Guaranty Fund, Inc. (ATG) believes that the public deserves legal representation when buying or selling real estate. Our goal is to promote and preserve the attorney’s role in real estate transactions for the benefit of the client. ATG has grown and expanded, and so has its mission: To be the premier lawyer service organization for the benefit of the profession and the public.

We never require premium minimums or exclusive agencies. There are no ongoing dues or fees for membership. On becoming a member of ATG, a lawyer has access to a wide range of benefits and services:

    Issuing title insurance through ATG will enhance your law firm’s services and improve your bottom line.

    Training
    Training in your office for you and your staff on policy preparation and title search procedures (where applicable).

    Ongoing underwriting and procedural support via toll-free telephone, fax, and e-mail.

    Custom software, ATG REsource®, makes preparing title policies, supporting documents, and HUD-1 Settlement Statements more efficient. Initial training and ongoing support are free.

    Continuing Legal Education
    Discount rates for members and their staff to quality programs conducted by our legal staff and outside experts through our subsidiary, ATG Legal Education, LLC. Online programs via ATG Legal Ed Connect and ATG Legal Ed OnDemand!

    Advocacy
    ATG gives you a voice in the legislature by protecting and fighting for your interests at the state level and in Washington, D.C.

    Communication
    Our e-newsletters keep you informed about real estate case law and legislation, summarize important procedural information and ATG events, and provide current listings of upcoming CLE programs. Our website, www.atgf.com, updated daily, contains essential information and tools for members.

    ATG’s informative brochures help you stay in touch with existing clients and market your services to prospective clients.
