This basic seminar is an excellent learning opportunity for anyone with little or no experience reviewing surveys. The speaker provides detailed instructions on survey examination, how to raise encroachments, and ATG guidelines for whether or not they are insurable. Topics include the following:
  • How to examine surveys;
  • Different types of surveys;
  • Raising encroachments on a title commitment; and
  • Insuring encroachments on a title commitment.

ATG is an Illinois Accredited Continuing Legal Education Provider. This program qualifies for 1.50 hours of MCLE credit in Illinois. We have applied for CLE credit in Wisconsin and Indiana.
