This basic course is a fast-paced, intensive, step-by-step guide to completing a § 1031 "Starker" Exchange. The presenter will explore the fundamental requirements for qualifying under § 1031 as a tax-deferred exchange, the basic rules for completing an exchange along with the nuts and bolts of the exchange agreement, and the flow of the transaction and the paperwork. This program makes an excellent refresher course.
