ATG Celebrates 50 Years!

Gratitude and Progress Mark a Milestone Year

As we reflect on our 50th anniversary, we are filled with gratitude for ATG members, board members, and employees — none of this would be possible without all of you.

We recently hosted two celebrations to mark our anniversary and were honored to have many of our long term members, our surviving founders, founding directors, and board members in attendance — all responsible in part for 50 years of leadership and support. Many of our members and a high percentage of our staff and our board have been with ATG 25 years or more. How have we been so fortunate? To what do we owe our longevity? Our story is one of perseverance: A commitment to a mission to be the premier lawyer service organization for the benefit the public. And while the journey hasn’t always been easy, our success has exceeded our dreams. Who would have predicted that we would become the leader of the industry and a household name for every practicing lawyer in Illinois? Our 50th anniversary is a celebration of our founding members and leaders who built this company despite formidable odds. It's a celebration of the thousands of law firms and agents who have together issued three million policies for their clients. And it's a celebration of our staff — loyal stewards of the company who believe in our mission to be of service to you. So when we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we celebrate you. We are grateful for your ongoing support, and we look forward to many more years together.

A Day at the Game

We brought back an old favorite: ATG Illini Tailgate. More than 400 members, employees, and guests gathered under the ATG tent for brunch, steel drum music, and fun before watching the Illini take on Western Kentucky. For details and a photo gallery, see ATG's A Day at the Game a Huge Success.

A Night at the Museum

Our event at the Museum of Science and Industry was amazing! More than 700 ATG members and other friends of ATG enjoyed all the exhibits, sampled authentic Chicago fare, and soaked-in nostalgic images from ATG events of yesteryear. Celebrate, Reflect, and Remember - The Video Series

Using 50-years' worth of photos and recent interviews with key people, we put together a video presentation to highlight and promote our milestone. Learn more about our history, the dedicated members who got us where we are today, and the culture at ATG. Watch Celebrate, Reflect, and Remember. Each segment is just a few minutes long, and we guarantee you'll see people you know...maybe even yourself!
