Thomas G. Cullen photoCongratulations to ATG's Thomas G. Cullen, Vice President – Wisconsin Operations, who was recently installed as president of the Wisconsin Land Title Association (WLTA) at its Fall Meeting at the Landmark Resort in Egg Harbor, Door County, Wisconsin.

"It was an honor to attend the WLTA event and to support Tom as he was installed as its new President," said Hank Shulruff, ATG Senior Vice President. "We at ATG are ‘doers.' We get involved, we work on the committee and leadership level of trade groups and bar associations because we value the opportunity to exchange ideas and have a voice in the industry on behalf of the title agents we serve. We're proud of Tom and look forward to his leadership."

Tom has been with ATG since 2005. He started as an underwriter and is now responsible for all of ATG's operations in Wisconsin. He has more than 27 years of legal experience, both in private practice and as in-house legal counsel for the Wisconsin REALTORS® Association. Elected to the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Land Title Association in 2009, he has served as President Elect and Co-Chair of the Legislative Committee. Tom holds a J.D. from Marquette University Law School, Milwaukee, and graduated cum laude with a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Many ATG attorneys are involved in the leadership of state and national trade groups, including the Wisconsin Land Title Association, the Illinois Land Title Association, and the American Land Title Association. In addition to Tom's role at WLTA, ATG Wisconsin Staff Attorney Jim Marlin serves as Co-Vice Chair of the WLTA By-laws Committee. In Illinois, ATG attorneys Michael Brandt, Augie Butera, Arden Miner, and Christine Sparks have all served on various committees and leadership positions of the Illinois Land Title Association; Brandt and Butera are past President, Sparks is currently First Vice President.
