Title Tips for ATG REsource® Users: Update File Status in Order Entry

If you have a transaction in progress and it cancels, please take the time to cancel your file in REsource. Prior to conducting an audit, ATG’s auditors run a report of open REsource files. Upon arriving at a member’s office for the audit, the auditor often discovers that many of the files on the report are for transactions that cancelled. Updating the file status on the main tab of REsource’s Order Entry section prevents that file from remaining open and showing up on your audit report. Changing the status to “cancelled” at the time of the cancellation will prevent you from having to go back and research files later. Questions? Contact an Underwriter
