Brent J. Scheer

As EVP and Chief Operating Officer, Brent Scheer oversees strategic direction and growth. He is well suited to the position based on his extensive industry experience in C-level roles. Prior to joining ATG, he spent 17 years in the title insurance industry serving as the CFO and COO at Agent’s National Title Insurance Company, CFO for Shaddock National Holdings and First National Title Insurance Company, and most recently as CFO for PropLogix.

Brent is a familiar face to many as an industry colleague. As the newest member of ATG's senior leadership team, Brent's goals include facilitating ATG's expansion and working with the ATG team to provide excellent service as we support attorneys, consumers, and businesses in real estate transactions. Scheer is a licensed CPA and has been active in the title industry speaking on various topics at American Land Title Association (ALTA) events and state land title association conferences. He served as the chair of the ALTA’s Accounting Committee from 2010 to 2016 and is currently a board member of the Title Reinsurance Corporation. Brent and his wife Angela enjoy time with their six children and son-in-law and are passionate about supporting them in education, arts, and athletics. Outside of work, Scheer enjoys traveling with his family and many outdoor activities. His volunteer roles include serving as an advisory board member of the local YMCA and as treasurer for the Missouri Wrestling Foundation.
