ATG® PRESIDENT ELECTED PRESIDENT OF CHICAGO-KENT LAW SCHOOL BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Peter Birnbaum was elected President of the Chicago-Kent Law School board in January. He has served on the board since April 1996. The Chicago-Kent Law School Association (LSA) Board of Directors is dedicated to the goal of strengthening bonds between the College and its students and graduates. In addition to providing a vital link between Chicago-Kent's alums and students, the LSA Board is responsible for offering advice and assistance to the College's administration. The LSA Board also organizes fundraising activities to support student scholarships, among other things.

IN MEMORIUM

ALBERT SALVI, 78, of Long Grove, an attorney who once sent coded messages for the Pentagon in wartime, died Friday, March 21, 2003, in Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. Mr. Salvi and his wife of more than 50 years, Marita, raised a family of nine children and had 39 grandchildren.

Mr. Salvi had a busy career as an attorney and was heavily involved in community work. Mr. Salvi was an active ATG member; his sons Joseph and Michael, and daughter Catherine Wifler, principals of Salvi, Salvi & Wifler, Lake Zurich, Illinois, remain active ATG members. Sons Al Salvi, Jr. and Patrick are prominent trial lawyers. Mr. Salvi will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Al was a welcome sight at ATG functions. He was beloved by the legal community and his friends at ATG. ATG extends its condolences to the Salvi family.
