Midland Sells Land Trust Business to Chicago Title

News from the Successor to ATG Trust Company

Midland States Bank has entered into an agreement with Chicago Title Land Trust Company (Chicago Title) to assume the trustee responsibilities on their land trust accounts. Chicago Title is an established provider of land trust services, as well as other real estate and title services, with many years of experience.

If your former ATG Trust land trust account(s) are now with Midland Title, this is what you need to know: 

  • All land trust services will transfer to Chicago Title effective December 17, 2021. There is no action required on your part for this to take effect.
  • You will receive a subsequent communication directly from Chicago Title that will include additional information about their services.
  • You can continue to work with Midland States Bank staff to assist you with your land trust account(s) through December 17, 2021.
