Maintain Your Good Standing with the State of Illinois
Harry E. Stirmell, Supervisor of the Title Insurance Section of the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, has requested that we remind all ATG title agents operating as corporations or LLCs to be sure and maintain your business entity in good standing with the State of Illinois. The DFI regularly checks this status and removes those entities that are not in good standing from registration as approved title agents. Therefore, please make sure to timely file your annual report and pay registration fees to also remain licensed as a title agent by the state. Thank you for your cooperation. Contact Jerry Gorman, 217.403.0116, with any questions.
