Endorsements: Form 2096-06 Instructions

NOTES:

Coverage: This deceptively simple endorsement insures the insured that the manufactured home located on the insured land is permanently affixed to the land and constitutes a part of the "Land" as defined by the policy. It also insures, unless specific exceptions are raised on Schedule B, against loss or damage by reason that:

1. There is not a manufactured home on the land;
2. The manufactured home does not constitute real property under the law where the land is located;
3. The owner of the manufactured home is not the owner of the land;
4. There are personal property liens (tax liens, UCC liens, etc.) on the manufactured home;

Procedure: This endorsement may be issued with Owner’s Policies only.

To issue this endorsement, choose one of the following guidelines to observe, depending on the location of the land: 

• ATG's Underwriting Guidelines for Manufactured Homes for Illinois, or
• ATG's Underwriting Guidelines for Mobile and Manufactured Homes for Indiana.
