This year's tailgate was special in many ways. ATG celebrated its 40th anniversary, honored its founder and several directors, and hosted a law clerk reunion. More than 20 former law clerks from the 1960s to the present joined us. The weekend began with the ATG Educational Program, Mechanics of a Commercial Real Estate Transaction, presented by ATG attorneys Donna Kogut and Greg Miely.

After the seminar, we held our annual shareholders' meeting and a cocktail reception. Earlier in the day, ATG presented a cash donation to the University of Illinois, College of Law (see the November-December issue of the ATG concept, available on-line). Saturday, ATG hosted nearly 750 members and guests at the tailgate. Guests enjoyed the U of I Steel Band and the U of I Marching Band before the Illinois vs. Michigan game.
