
ATG® AWARDS 1999 CHICAGO KENT SCHOLARSHIP
ATG and Peter J. Birnbaum, ATG President, sponsor an annual $5,000 scholarship to a student who has indicated an interest in Real Property Law at the Chicago Kent College of Law. Mr. Birnbaum presented the scholarship, which is based on financial need and academic performance, to Leanne Strigel at the Chicago Kent Scholarship Luncheon. "We are pleased to award this scholarship each year to a deserving student such as Leanne," said Peter Birnbaum. Ms. Strigel, from Chicago's West Loop neighborhood, is a third-year law student at Chicago Kent. ATG congratulates Ms. Strigel and wishes her the best in her chosen career.

ATG® MEMBER ELECTED TO FLORIDA BAR POST
ATG congratulates member John Voorn of Buikema, Hiskes, Dillner, O'Donnel & Marovich, Ltd., Orland Park, who was elected Secretary of the Florida Bar Association's Out of State Practitioner's Division. He was elected at the Bar's annual meeting in Boca Raton, Florida, and will serve during the 1999-2000 bar year. Approximately 20% of the 60,000+ licensed Florida lawyers reside outside the state. Mr. Voorn will also serve as counsel to the division advising the Executive Council of Bar Actions and is a member of the Florida Bar's Elder Law Section.
