
A NIGHT AT THE BALLPARK
ATG hosted a special event on June 18, 2001, to introduce members to new and upgraded services now available. The day's agenda included two educational programs: Title Insurance Fundamentals, a comprehensive overview of insuring title for real property, and ATG: At Your Service, a summary of various services, including the Metro-East office, Guaranty Trust Company, Capital Funding Corporation, and more. ATG® SPONSORS BIG BROTHERS-BIG SISTERS GOLF CLASSIC
ATG and its president, Peter Birnbaum, each sponsored a hole at the 2001 Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago Pro-Celebrity Golf Classic. Held at the River Forest Country Club in Elmhurst, Illinois, on July 23, 2001, the benefit raised $45,000, bringing the event's ten-year total to $500,000. Peter serves on the Big Brothers-Big Sisters board of directors and is the chairman of this annual event.
