WAIVING STANDARD EXCEPTIONS

ATG members insuring title to property in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, and Will Counties cannot waive the five Standard Exceptions for lenders or owners without obtaining a boundary survey of the property. ATG will not permit members to waive these exceptions with an Affidavit in Lieu of Survey or with a mortgage inspection report. Furthermore, if an ATG Independent Closer is conducting the closing, provide a copy of the survey to the closer.
