Real Estate and Estate Planning Attorneys: A Look into the Future

Attorneys' Title Guaranty Fund, Inc. (ATG) welcomed more than 250 member agents and other attorneys to the 13th Annual Harold I. Levine Real Estate Institute November 9, 2017.

ATG, ATG Trust Company, and IRELA partnered to present a one-day continuing education event to cover topics pertinent to both real estate and estate planning attorneys. Along with our experienced staff, our speaker panel includes these special guests:

• Devon Irby, Chief Compliance Officer, H.B. Wilkinson Title Company
• Ralph J. Schumann, President, Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association

Our speakers covered timely topics, including major issues facing the title industry and real estate attorneys; how to hire, train, engage, and retain talented people; and the estate plan, special needs trusts, and the hard conversations.

The event was at the Drury Lane Convention Center in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, and included continental breakfast and lunch, followed by a cocktail reception. The program qualified for 5.50 MCLE hours in Illinois (6.00 CLE applied in Wisconsin). ATG thanks its panel of speakers and all who attended.
