PROGRAM SUMMARY:

This year's annual Harold Levine Real Estate Institute focuses on how to strategically and successfully market your firm, industry issues, and pending legislation.

Innovative Marketing Strategies for Real Estate Lawyers | Learn from an expert how to strategically and successfully market your firm to increase your clientele and improve your bottom line. Marketing expert and practicing attorney Larry Bodine has constructed a marketing and practice building program to help you enhance your real estate practice and title business. He will present the following practical techniques and business models that you can easily implement to increase your bottom line and grow your practice:

  • Market to current clients, other attorneys, community and business contacts for referrals;
  • Implement follow-up techniques with customers, Realtors and lenders to better guarantee return business;
  • Target other real estate professionals and organizations to enhance your client base;
  • Use your own personal strengths and those of your staff to improve your practice; and
  • Develop good "people skills" to probe for legal needs of your clients and acquaintances.

Regulation of Real Estate Transactions and the Title Industry | ATG President and CEO Peter J. Birnbaum will present an up-to-date look at what the government and the title industry are doing that will affect real estate attorneys and title agents.

Legislative and Case Law Update | Attorney Samuel H. Levine and ATG Senior Underwriting Attorney Gregory J. Miely will review the latest real estate-related cases and legislation.


CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION INFORMATION:

ATG is an Illinois Accredited Continuing Legal Education Provider and also submits its programs for credit hours in Indiana and Wisconsin. This program qualifies for 5.50 CLE hours.
