Catherine joined ATG Trust Company as a Trust Officer in 2020 where she utilizes her extensive experience to administer decedents' estates and trusts. Prior to ATG Trust, she was in private practice in the areas of estate and trust administration, estate planning, and real estate law at an ATG member firm in Downers Grove, Illinois. “Catherine's wealth and breadth of experience make her a trusted source of support for attorneys, clients, and colleagues,” said Kathryn Van Eeuwen, ATG Trust President and CEO. "She is well-equipped to educate and support beneficiaries through complex estate plans."

Earlier in her career, Catherine worked with the Adult Guardianship Division of the Cook County Office of the Public Guardian and served as an attorney and guardian ad litem in the Juvenile Position.

Dawn brings more than 20 years of experience handling all aspects of title and escrow to her new position. She is responsible for managing day-to-day operations in compliance with established procedures and implementing policies and processes designed to maximize efficiency and quality production. Most recently, she was Vice President of Title Servicing for Baird & Warner Title Services/Landtrust National Title Services, where she focused on process improvements and efficiencies and administered the ResWare production system.

“Dawn’s multifaceted experience in the title insurance and real estate industries will help our team build new processes to better serve the needs of our member agents and their clients,” said Christine Sparks, ATG Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

John is responsible for all areas of finance, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, profitability reporting, and the implementation and monitoring of controls across the organization. A Certified Public Accountant, his previous experience includes Chief Accounting Officer at MB Financial Bank, a Senior Audit Manager in Financial Institutions at KPMG, and a Financial Analyst at JPMorgan Chase.

“John’s experience working for financial service institutions and a multinational professional services network will further strengthen our position as a leading lawyer service organization providing unparalleled service to our thousands of member attorneys and their clients,” said Peter Birnbaum, ATG's President and CEO. “As a member of our executive team, John will be of great value in helping to lead our organization into a future filled with opportunities, as well as challenges.”

Traci is our new Senior Manager of Claims and Litigation. She began her legal career with the ATG agent firm Meyer Capel and later founded a private practice where she concentrated on employment and labor law, real estate, estate planning, business law and civil litigation. Her previous experience also includes 12 years with News-Gazette Media in Champaign, Illinois, where she served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. "Traci is a well-respected attorney in Champaign-Urbana, and beyond. She is experienced and knowledgeable, a great addition to our legal team." Christine joined ATG Trust Company in 2015 as Vice President and Senior Trust Officer. Her skill and expertise led to her promotion first to Vice President - Administration, then to her current role where she consults on all trust, estate, and IRA accounts, promotes ATG Trust services, and works with attorneys and their clients who are considering the company’s full range of trust and estate administration services.

Christine's extensive career includes five years at FNBC Bank and Trust (formerly First National Bank of LaGrange), where she was a trust officer managing IRAs, SNTs, Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, and Investment Accounts, as well as a trust officer in the Estate/Guardianship Unit at JPMorgan Chase and State's Attorney for Cook County, and spent 18 years as a solo practitioner concentrating in the areas of probate, estate, litigation, and social security before joining the world of corporate trustees.

As ATG's most experienced underwriting attorney, Greg handles all aspects of legal and underwriting questions as well as closing problems and in-depth issues. He has a broad base of knowledge concerning title insurance matters, closing problems, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and other areas of real estate law. His more than 32 years of experience at ATG include underwriting attorney, frequent speaker for ATG Legal Education programs, and five years as a software developer. He is also the editor of the Casenotes and Underwriters’ Bulletin, one of ATG’s longest-running publications.
