We've Reached a New Milestone:

ATG Issues Three Millionth Title Insurance Policy

It's been a banner year for ATG; in the midst of celebrating our 50th anniversary — we issued our three millionth policy!

The insureds are William and Jill Thompson of Oglesby, Illinois, and the member attorney who issued the policy is Richard "Dick" Fiocchi of Bernabei, Balestri & Fiocchi of Spring Valley, Illinois.

This milestone is a tribute to our nearly 4,000 attorney-members and our dedicated staff who provide sellers, purchasers, and lenders with impeccable service every day. Each policy represents our pledge to protect the largest single investment of a typical American's life — the purchase of a home.

I want to express ATG's gratitude to Dick Fiocchi. Lawyers like him and his partners are the face of ATG, representing consumers in what is often a complex and bewildering process. Having a lawyer at their side gives consumers an advocate to navigate these complexities.

Dick's firm has been associated with ATG since 1965 through its founding partner Bruno Bernabei (1921-1995); the remaining name partners have been active with ATG for more than 30 years. Of his firm's long-term association with ATG, Dick said, "ATG has been the backbone of our law practice for decades. I'm grateful to be a part of marking ATG's 50th anniversary---and happy for these young homeowners."

We are all thrilled for the Thompson family on the purchase of their new home, where they plan to celebrate holidays and create family traditions with their six-year-old daughter, Radia. ATG is honored to be a part of helping them and millions of other Midwesterners achieve their dream of home ownership.

We issued our one millionth policy in 1994 and our two millionth in 2004 (see ATG Celebrates Milestones). Here's to our four millionth by 2024!
